What is silpi pension scheme.

Silpi Pension Scheme Is A Welfare Scheme. This Scheme Is Applicable To The Artists And Their Families Who Have Made Significant Contribution To The Arts And Culture Of Assam.This Scheme Is Designed To Provide Financial Assistance To Artists/Indigent Family By The Government Of Assam.

Types Of Financial Assistance Available In The Scheme.

1. Under The Artist Pension ,, The Beneficiary Will Receive An Amount Of ₹8,000/- (Per Month).
2. Under The Family Pension Scheme,, The Beneficiary Will Receive An Amount Of ₹4,000/- (Per Month).
3. Under The Barkhik Silpi Honman (Ex-Gratia Grant),, The Beneficiary Will Receive An Amount Of ₹50,000/- (One Time).
4. Under The One-Time Special Financial Assistance To Families Of Deceased Artist Scheme,,, The Beneficiary Will Receive An Amount Of ₹50,000/- (One Time).

Eligibility Of Beneficiary.

• The Applicant Should Be A Permanent Resident Of Assam.
• The Age Of The Applicant For Silpi Pension Must Be 60 Years Or Above.
• An Artist, Who Has Made Outstanding Contributions In The Field Of Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Puppetry, Musk Making, And Also Covering Artists And Technicians Associated With Mobile Theatre And Amateur Theatre And Films, Is Eligible Under This Scheme.
• Indigent Families Of Artists Who Have Made Outstanding Contributions In The Field Of Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Puppetry, Musk Making, Etc. Are Eligible Under This Scheme.
• The Applicant Must Have A Recognition Proof Certificate.

3. Identity Proof (Passport, Aadhaar, Voter Id, Driving License, Ration Card, Bank Passbook, Photo Identity Card, Etc.
4. Passport Photograph Of The Applicant (In Case Of Silpi Pension)
5. Single Passport Photograph Of The Applicant And Joint Photograph Of Husband And Wife (In Case Of Family Pension) .
6. Bank Passbook First Page .
7. Income Certificate .
8. Death Certificate Of The Artiste (In Case Of Family Pension)
9. Disability Certificate. (In Case Of Divyang Artistes)
10. Achievements Proof Certificates.
11. Recognitions Proof Certificate
